Refund Policy

We want you to be happy with Spiralyst Lab. This policy explains when we provide refunds. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Spiralyst Lab is sold by David D. Karnowski, an independent developer (individual / sole proprietor) based in the United States, and this policy is governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law gives you greater rights (see the EU / UK note below).

We'll always make it right if delivery or activation fails

If any of the following happens, you're entitled to a full refund (or a fix, your choice):

  • We don't deliver your license key within a reasonable time and can't resolve it; or
  • Your valid license key won't activate the Software and we can't fix it; or
  • You were charged in error or charged more than once.

EU / UK customers — digital goods and the right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase. However, for digital content supplied immediately, that right can be lost once supply has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that you lose the right of withdrawal. At checkout/delivery you may be asked to consent to immediate delivery of your license key and to acknowledge that you thereby lose the statutory right of withdrawal. Nothing in this policy removes mandatory rights you have under applicable consumer law — including the right to a remedy if the Software is faulty or not as described.

How refunds are issued

Approved refunds are returned via PayPal to your original payment method, typically within a few business days. The associated license key will be deactivated for future versions.

Renewals

The same policy applies to renewal purchases.

How to request a refund

Email support@spiralyst.com with:

  • the email address used for the order,
  • your PayPal transaction ID or receipt, and
  • a short note on what went wrong.

We'll respond promptly.
